Ms. Sain’s reading class is finishing up a Reading unit all about different animals, the ecosystems they live in, and how they protect themselves. Students started researching an endangered animal they chose and are putting together a google slide presentation to share with their classmates. The students are learning about the animals appearance, diet, and ecosystems as well as reasons as to why they are endangered and some things we can do to help their populations grow!

As part of our 100th day of school celebration last week, Ms. Groene's class made bracelets with 100 beads and made a 100 snack! #atthepark

Our SPES Panthers showed great effort in last night's CCPS Spelling Bee. Here are some photos of the event! Great job P-A-N-T-H-E-R-S!





Mrs. Wang's class has been leaning about Virginia state symbols. The cardinal is the state's bird. There have also been flex seat days where reading students can read anywhere in the room!

In Miss Hackley's class, students learned how Police Officers help people during situations, the different kinds of transportation they use, and how they keep us safe! The best part was receiving stickers from Deputy Boorman! #atthepark

Did you know there is a national bubble bath day? Ms. Smith's class now does! Her 5th grade class celebrated National Bubble Bath Day with a bubble experiment while discussing translucent, transparent, and opaque.











Mr. Sweeney's math class completed a "Write around the room" scavenger hunt where they found hidden task cards to practice counting by 5's. and other numbers!
