The students are learning how to carry themselves professionally and develop trust with their patients. They are practicing how to document the chief complaint as well as the history of the present illness in order to better serve their patients' needs.

Today, NOVEC paid a visit to our electrical students. NOVEC staff demonstrated electrical safety and the gear and personal protective equipment used on a daily basis, as well as speaking about the dangers that a lineman encounters while on the job, and hearing firsthand what is most rewarding about being a lineman. Our students also learned about possible careers and the process to become a lineman.
Thank you to NOVEC for coming out today!

We're excited to introduce everyone to the first Trailblazers in our new Firefighter course at CTEC! They have been hard at work since the first day of school, and last Friday they practiced putting on their turnout gear, along with learning the proper way to mount and dismount a fire engine. Stay tuned for further updates from Firefighter and all of our courses as our students seize opportunity!
