On March 29, 2024, Laurel Blackmon (pictured right), of the Education Committee of NAACP-Culpeper, presented the book "She Raised Her Voice: 50 Black Women Who Sang Their Way into Music History" to Mrs. League (pictured left) and her 7th-grade English students in recognition of their high participation in the 2024 Black History Month essay contest and the quality of their submissions.
Culpeper County Public Schools and offices will be closed Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 5, 2024 for Spring Break.
