Our students have been busy in the art room so far this year! Students in grades 3-5 have been learning how to take pictures, edit them, and upload their artwork to a digital portfolio platform called Artsonia. Once you connect to your students' portfolios, you can view their work, leave positive comments, and share it with family members. Artsonia also allows you to purchase items featuring your student's artwork, which can be kept as keepsakes or given as gifts. Our art program receives 20% of the profits from items purchased through Artsonia. You can access your students' portfolios through the QR codes below or via this link: https://www.artsonia.com/connect/ZF89DKWF.
Students in grades K-2 do not currently have artwork posted in their portfolios, but they do have portfolios created. You can connect to their portfolios now and be notified when their artwork is posted. Thank you, as always, for supporting our students and their adventures in the art room!

The energy and creativity have been infectious, and it’s wonderful to see everyone so engaged! #atthePark

The kindergarten classes went on their first field trip a couple weeks ago. They traveled to Graves Mountain Farm to learn about the lifecycle of apples and pumpkins. Each child picked a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and chose apples from the packing shed. They also saw many animals like pigs, goats, sheep, and cows. It was a beautiful fall day for a field trip. 🍂 🍎
