3 students holding certificate and Pi trophies

Culpeper Middle School recently held its second annual Memorize Pi contest, with students showcasing incredible dedication and memory skills. Millie Malone set a new school record by memorizing an astonishing 462 digits, securing the 8th-grade title. Christian Zeigler won for 7th grade with 116 digits, while Laura Saadee took the 6th-grade win with 347 digits. The top three winners are pictured with their 3D-printed Pi trophies and certificates!

To encourage participation, students who memorized at least 10 digits were entered into a drawing for a small personal pie, with 277 students and teachers taking part. Fifteen lucky participants won pies, adding a sweet reward to the exciting competition.

The contest continues to grow in enthusiasm, with students challenging themselves to push the limits of memory and mathematical fun!
